At the age of 19, Tyrone James played professional football with Fulham Football Club with some of the most famous players in English Football, such as George Best, Bobby Moore, Alan Mullery and Rodney Marsh as his team mates. Bobby Moore, England’s World Cup Captain actually took Tyrone under his wing to help him develop further and become a professional football player.

Tyrone then came to Australia and played for sunshine George Cross in 1985. The coach was John Gardener, in the NSL League along with Melbourne Knights, Green gully and Sydney FC.

Coached Melton Soccer Senior Team

Promoted the team from Provisional League 1 to the State League Division 4 (first team in 30 years that they had been promotion).

Appointed coach for the under 12's by the Victorian Soccer Federation for the Western Region.

Tyrone was also Director of coaching at Melbourne Knights Soccer Club.

Coached the under 16's and Senior Team at Parkmore Soccer Club
